The Marine Corps Marathon 2004, page 3 of 5

I have way too much energy going on here. Look how wound up I am in the background there, I'm still going "rah rah rah" from the previous page! The rest of my group seems a little more sedate.

Either that or they just don't know how to pose for pictures.

Over Key Bridge! One of my favorite spots of the race as we cross into DC, this is a great picture of Julie, Gelareh, and Leslie.

I absolutely love this picture of us taking a quick walk break, with the Potomac River by our side. We look so happy... like we don't know what's in store, perhaps.

"Speak to the hand!" Randy yelled.

Oh good god, McElhatton, will you please stop making those "rah rah rah" noises? It's like the Arsenio Hall Show gone horribly wrong(er).

With some sedatives applied to my water bottle, I am finally content to stop making those noises as we catch our breath and prepare to refill our water bottles down one side of the National Mall.
