The Baltimore Marathon, page 9

My cheering section returns, looking well rested from a day at the art galleries... They're laughing because they didn't run 26.2 miles today. Do you blame them?

"There there, Julie. It's all over now."

Look how happy we seem, holding our little cups of water.

And suddenly, the facade vanishes and Greg's true emotions shine through. (And it's not pretty. Something along the lines of, "I desperately need a shower.")

A quick pose with my parents, who are secretly agreeing that I desperately need a shower.

A medal and and superhero cape. What more can I ask for? (Well, a shower for starters. Obsessing? Me?)

We both look beat here. But now it's time to go home, and that's all that really matters at this point!
