The Baltimore Marathon, page 3

A view from up above.

Like so many cities following Chicago's ideas of different artistic cows all over the city, Baltimore has decided to go for fish. The sparkly fish in the Inner Harbor amused us far too much.

Woohoo! We're already one down! That one woman on the far left seems far, far, far too happy about this. Perhaps no one's told her how long a marathon really is?

It was really nice to run by the water in the early miles. Unfortunately, this did not last for very long.

Sufficiently warmed up, I decide it's time to get rid of the jacket, in a very odd-looking manner.

Susan (Julie's sister) and Dan (Emily's husband) show up for some moral support around mile 5.5. (And Susan is carting away my jacket. Hurrah!)

We are still looking really cheerful by this point. (You'd never know the tendon in my left calf had been bothering me for 1.5 miles already.)
