Well, now we know the answer: Nope! But in general, I’m enjoying adding on the extra mile at the end of Tues/Thurs; it means I sandwich my run with the guys with miles on my own, and it’s good to be able to speed up at the end of the run.

Tuesday: A surprise appearance by Bill, and a lovely warm day, but not too warm. (9:04, 9:29, 10:09, 9:46, 10:01, 8:26, 1:02)

Thursday: Back to brisk weather — it was actually the warmest that day when we began, and then dropped temperature for the rest of the day — but another good run. (8:41, 9:40, 10:07, 10:25, 9:58, 8:46, 1:30)

Saturday: Ben and John came up to my place and we ran through Takoma Park, then up Sligo Creek. Gorgeous fall day, just the right weather. Wish more of the leaves were still on the trees, but you can’t have everything. A little slower than normal but ti was a low-key, relaxed run.
